I’m Faye Thorman, the founder of The Yorkshire Notary.  I’m a qualified and regulated Notary Public, based in York, and authorised to practise across England and Wales.  My practice is regulated through the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and I’m a member of the Notaries Society.

I have over twenty years’ experience in the legal sector; I qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and practised in private client work for sixteen years before deciding to take the plunge as a full-time Notary Public.  I’m now 100% focused on notarial work, which means I’m available when and where you need me.

My aim is to provide accessible, responsive, and user-friendly notarial and legalisation services, combining the rigour of one of the world’s oldest legal professions with a modern, approachable style of client care.
